Synopsis

A battle between good and evil, openly a contest of Go but secretly a contest of swords and spears, erupts with dazzling force, resembling a collision of planets. The two sides, led by Emperor Xiaoming and Jiang Liuer, who strive for a strong nation and a peaceful life for the people, and by King You and the Chess Demon King, who aim to plunge the people into misery through militarism and exorbitant taxes, are engaged in a struggle for power.
